Adjusting the front wheel alignment angles [Toyota Carina T170]
When checking the front wheel alignment angles, the vehicle must be on a level surface and the tires must have the specified pressure. Before measuring the toe-in, it is important that the steering and wheel suspension are correctly mounted and have no play at all. The kingpin caster, camber, and kingpin lateral caster are not measured. If the measurement results differ from the specified values when measuring using the standard method, it can most often be assumed that there is a deformation of the suspension parts that must be replaced. When measuring the camber and kingpin caster, bring the vehicle to its operating condition, i.e. as it is used in traffic. In addition, fill the fuel tank. The adjustment values are given in the tables of dimensions and adjustments.
