- Place the steering knuckle with the wheel hub onto the end of the drive shaft and temporarily place the ball joint on the wishbone. Wrap the cuff with a thick rag so as not to damage it during further work. Insert the upper protrusion of the rotary pack between the shock absorber strut clamps. If necessary, tap the steering knuckle with a soft metal hammer.
- Drive the bolts into the rear shock absorber strut (do not damage the thread) and tighten the nuts to a torque of 255 Nm.
- At the same time, hold the bolt heads with a wrench.
- Place the brake disc on the wheel hub, observing the markings made before removing the markings.
- Install the brake caliper and tighten the bolts with a tightening torque of 94 Nm. Check that the brake hose is not kinked.
- Connect the steering end to the control lever and tighten the nut with a tightening torque of 50 Nm. Insert a new cotter pin.
- Tighten the 2 nuts and bolt on the underside of the wishbone to a tightening torque of 127 Nm. At the same time, hold the bolt heads with a wrench.
- Place the wheel and lower the car. Tighten the handbrake to a torque of 190 Nm, lock the nut and install a new cotter pin. If the cotter pin does not fit, tighten the nut. When installing a cotter pin, never loosen the nut.
- After installing the wheel hub, check the alignment of the front wheels.
