Checking and adjusting the alignment
Check the toe-in value. If it does not meet the specified conditions, make adjustments. Toe-in during checking:
B - A = 1±2 mm

To adjust:
- a) Remove the cover clamps.
- b) Loosen the tie rod end locknuts.
- c) Adjust the toe-in by turning the left and right tie rod ends the same number of turns.
Toe-in when adjusting: B-A = 1 +1 mm
Note:
- try to set the average value of the convergence value.
- make sure that the lengths of the right and left rods are the same.
The difference in the lengths of the rods is no more than 1 mm

d) Tighten the tie rod end locknuts.
- Tightening torque - 57 Nm
e) Reinstall the covers and secure them with clamps
Note: Make sure the covers are not twisted.
Checking the wheel turning angles
Check the wheel turning angles.
Front-wheel drive models:
2WS:
- Inner wheel - 36° 50' ±2°
- Outer wheel - 30° 55'
4WS:
- Inner wheel - 35° 15' ±2°
- Outer wheel - 29° 55'
All-wheel drive models (since 1996 - only with 3S-FE engine):
- Inner wheel - 36° 30' ±2°
- Outer wheel - 31°00'
All-wheel drive models from 1996 (ZS-T) and models from the beginning of 1995:
- Inner wheel 36° 55' ±2°
- Outer wheel - 31°10'

If the wheel turning angles differ from those specified, make sure that the lengths of the left and right steering rods are the same.
Checking the camber, longitudinal and transverse tilt of the steering axes
Check the camber of the front wheels, longitudinal and lateral tilt of the steering axes.
Front-wheel drive models:
- Camber - 0° 20'±45'
- Longitudinal tilt of the rotation axis - 1° 15'±45'
- Transverse tilt of the rotation axis - 13° 10'±45'

All-wheel drive models (since 1996 - only with 3S-FE engine):
- Camber - 0° 25'±45'
- Longitudinal tilt of the axis of rotation - 1°05'±45'
- Transverse tilt of the pivot axis - 13°00'±45'
All-wheel drive models (ZS-T) since 1996 and models since the beginning of 1995:
- Camber — 0° 40'±45'
- Longitudinal tilt of the rotation axis - 1° 05'±45'
- Transverse tilt of the rotation axis - 12° 40'±45'
The difference in camber, longitudinal and transverse tilt of the steering axis of the right and left wheels is no more than 30'.
Note: the camber, longitudinal and transverse tilt of the front wheel pivot axes are not adjustable, therefore if these values do not correspond to the specified conditions, it is necessary to check the condition and replace faulty suspension parts.
