Removing
1. Remove the lower right engine guard.
2. Disconnect vacuum tubes from the valve of increase in frequency of rotation of idling.
3. Drain the power steering fluid.
4. Turn away a union bolt, remove a lining and disconnect the delivery pipeline from the pump.
- Tightening torque - 52 Nm
5. Disconnect the return line.
6. Remove the drive belt.
A) Loosen the adjustment bracket bolt.
- Tightening torque - 40 Nm
b) Loosen the axle bolt and remove the belt.
- Tightening torque - 40 Nm
7. Remove the pump assembly with mounting bracket.
A) Remove the four mounting bracket bolts.
Torque:
- bolts (M14) - 40 Nm
- bolts (M12) - 20 Nm
b) Turn away a bolt of an adjusting arm and remove the pump.
8. Turn away a bolt an axis and disconnect the pump from an arm.
Removing the power steering pump (4A-FE, 5A-FE, 7A-FE)
1 - gasket,
2 - discharge pipeline,
3 - return pipeline,
4 - collar,
5 - pump assembly,
6 - vacuum tubes,
7 - mounting bracket,
8 - lower right engine protection cover.
Installation
1. Installation is made in the reverse order of removal.
2. When installing the drive belt, adjust its tension (see related section).
3. After installing the pump:
A) Add power steering fluid.
b) Bleed the power steering system.
V) Check the fluid level.
