Removal
1. Remove the lower right engine protection cover.
2. Disconnect the vacuum lines from the idle speed increase valve.
3. Drain the power steering fluid.
4. Loosen the union bolt, remove the gasket and disconnect the discharge line from the pump.
- Tightening torque - 52 Nm
5. Disconnect the return line.
6. Remove the drive belt.
a) Loosen the adjusting bracket bolt.
- Tightening torque - 40 Nm
b) Loosen the axle bolt and remove the belt.
- Tightening torque - 40 Nm
7. Remove the pump assembly with the mounting bracket.
a) Unscrew the four mounting bracket bolts.
Tightening torque:
- Bolts (M14) - 40 Nm
- Bolts (M12) - 20 Nm
b) Loosen the adjusting bracket bolt and remove the pump.
8. Loosen the axle bolt and disconnect the pump from the bracket.
Removal the power steering pump (4A-FE, 5A-FE, 7A-FE)
1 - gasket,
2 - discharge pipeline,
3 - return pipeline,
4 - clamp,
5 - pump assembly,
6 - vacuum tubes,
7 - mounting bracket,
8 - lower right engine protection cover.
Installation
1. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

2. When installing the drive belt, adjust its tension (see the relevant section).
3. After installing the pump:
a) Top up the power steering fluid.
b) Bleed the power steering system.
c) Check the working fluid level.
