Removing
Disconnect the hose (arrow) from the cylinder head.
Remove the mounting bolts and remove the intake manifold together with the air filter housing.
Open the clamp securing the heater hose and unscrew the bolt securing the pipeline. Remove the hose together with the pipeline from the connecting fitting.
Remove the fuel injection pipes and fuel return pipeline.
Remove toothed belt.
Unscrew the cylinder head bolts in three steps in order from 1 to 18. For the first step 1/2 turn, for the second step a full turn, for the third step, unscrew completely.
Attention: Loosening bolts in random order can lead to deformations and cracks in the cylinder head.
Installation
Check the cylinder head for deformation. The maximum flatness must not exceed 0.2 mm. If the flatness exceeds the specified value, the cylinder head must be replaced.
Screw in the 18 cylinder head bolts until they stop by hand. After that, tighten the bolts in three steps, following the instructions in fig. tightening sequence.
- 1 reception - with a torque wrench with a force of 30 Nm
- 2 reception - with a torque wrench with a force of 60 Nm
- 3rd reception - with a torque wrench with a force of 84 Nm
Install toothed belt.
Install the fuel return hose and injection pipe.
Put the heater hose on the fitting and secure with a bolt. Fasten the hose clamp.
Reinstall and bolt the intake manifold together with the air filter housing.
Push the hose onto the cylinder head.
