L-series
1. Fix the fuel inlet and outlet pipes. Tightening torque 23 N.m.
2. Installation on the engine.
A) Align the mark on the pump flange and the timing belt cover.
b) Tighten the flange mounting nuts to 21 Nm.
V) Install the rear pump support. Tighten the mounting bolts to 18 Nm.
3. Check the injection advance setting angle.
4. Install the high pressure pipes. Tighten the tube nuts to 25 Nm.
Note: On a pre-injection engine, do not damage the injection assembly on the pump head.
5. Connect fuel hoses.
6. Connect the wiring connectors.
7. Connect water hoses to heat control thermostat.
8. Connect a vacuum hose of management TNVD at inclusion of the conditioner.
9. Connect the boost corrector vacuum hose.
10. Connect the accelerator cable.
11. Install the injection pump drive pulley.
12. Install the timing belt.
13. Fill the cooling system.
14. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
15. Check up turns of the minimum and maximum idling.
KZ series
1. Installation of injection pump
A) Install a new O-ring on the pump and lightly lubricate it with engine oil.
b) Align the key on the pump shaft with the groove in the drive gear, install the pump on the motor.
V) align the marks on the pump flange and the gear housing, tighten the two nuts securing the flange to 21 Nm.
G) Install the rear pump support, tighten the bolts to 32 Nm. Before tightening the bolts, make sure that there is no gap between the column and the block or the column and the pump. If there is a gap, remove it by loosening the support mounting bolts and moving the support in its grooves.
d) Install a new drive gear O-ring
e) Tighten the gear nut to 64 Nm, check the axial clearance in the drive.
and) Connect: fuel hoses (1), power control actuator vacuum hose (2), boost corrector hose (3), height compensator hose (4)
h) Connect the fuel cutoff valve connector and water hoses from the heat control thermostat.
2. Install the camshaft drive gear.
3. Put on the camshaft drive belt.
4. Check the injection advance setting angle.
5. Connect the vacuum hose of the idle control actuator when turning on the air conditioner (if installed).
6. Connect the high pressure pipes: temporarily fix the pipes on the injectors and injection pump, install the clamps (A) And (IN), tighten the tube nuts to 15 N.m.
7. Establish an arm and draft of management of the lever of TNVD.
8. Install the duct.
9. Fill the cooling system.
10. Start the engine and check for leaks.
