- Clamp the shock absorber strut with the bottom side in a vice. To prevent compression of the clamps, pre-route the head of the key.
- Install a tension device on the spring coils, as shown in Figure 186 for the front spring, and completely unscrew the nut in the middle of the shock absorber strut. Remove all parts shown in Figure 218.

- Clamp the shock absorber in a vice in a vertical position and pull it out, and then recess the piston rod. If at the same time there are "dead" zone, or when recessed the piston rod enters the cup unevenly, the shock absorber must be replaced. Shock absorbers are filled with gas and require certain precautions when disposing of them. Rear springs must be ordered with the chassis number in accordance with the supplier's parts microfilm, as the springs are being upgraded to improve the suspension.
