On the 1.6 liter engine, 6 bolts are used for installation; on a 2.0 l engine - 8 bolts. Bolts are tightened according to a specific pattern. The bolt tightening torques on both engines are also different. On the 2.0L engine, it is also added that new and used bolts require different tightening torques. New bolts are tightened to a torque of 90 Nm, while used bolts in good condition are tightened to a torque of 93 Nm. The threads of these bolts must also be lubricated with locking paste. For all engines, the bolts are tightened to the final torque in several passes. When installing the flywheel, use Figures 107 and 108.

If the flywheel friction surface is scratched, for example due to a slipping clutch, the flywheel should be replaced.
