Pic. 1.77. Multifunction display
When you press a button «INFO», if the ignition switch is on, the clock or outside temperature displays the following information (pic. 1.77).
Every time you press the button «MODE or RESET» the display toggles between showing this information.
- 1. Instant fuel consumption.
- 2. Average fuel consumption.
- 3. Travel distance.
- 4. Average vehicle speed.
- 5. Travel time.
The values shown on the multifunction display show general driving conditions. Accuracy varies depending on driving style and road conditions.
Click the button «INFO» again, the display will return to the hour and outdoor temperature.
When the ignition is switched on, the display will show the last mode used before the ignition was switched off.
If the multifunction display's power supply has been disconnected, the display will automatically reset to its original mode.
If you turn on the instrument panel backlight, the brightness of the display indicator will decrease.
Attention! Do not adjust the display while the vehicle is moving. Stop the vehicle before adjusting the display.
1. Instant fuel consumption
(«L/100 km» (l/100 km), «MPG» (miles/gal.) or «KM/L» (km/l)).
Instantaneous fuel consumption is calculated and displayed on the display based on the distance and fuel consumption for 2 seconds while the engine is running.
The value shown on the display is updated every 2 s.
Please note that the exact value may not be shown in the following cases.
- The car is stopped and the engine is running (the display will show too much fuel consumption).
- The vehicle is driving down a long hill while using engine braking (the display will show too low fuel consumption).
Calculations are reset when the ignition switch is turned off.
2. Average fuel consumption
(«AVG. L/100 km» (Wednesday, l/100 km), «AVG. MPG» (avg. mpg.) or «KM/L» (km/l))
The average fuel consumption is calculated and displayed on the display based on the total distance traveled and the total fuel consumption with the engine running.
The value shown on the display is updated every 10 s.
To reset calculations, press and hold the button «MODE/RESET» for more than 1 s.
3. Travel distance
(«RANGE KM» (range, km) or «RANGE Ml» (range, miles))
The distance the vehicle can travel with remaining fuel is calculated and displayed on the display based on the amount of remaining fuel and the latest fuel consumption data.
The trip distance indication on the display shows the approximate distance you can drive before the fuel gauge reaches the position «E». It differs from the actual distance travelled.
The digital value is updated each time the equivalent fuel required to travel 1 km is consumed (km).
Each time you fill up the car, the calculation is reset.
Actual travel distance varies depending on driving style and road conditions. With good fuel consumption, the driving range will be longer. With poor fuel consumption, the travel distance will be less.
If the fuel level warning light comes on, refuel the vehicle even if the display indicates that the vehicle can be driven on.
4. Average vehicle speed («AVG. KM/h» (Wednesday, km/h) or «A.V.G. MRN» (avg, mph))
The average vehicle speed is calculated and displayed on the display based on the total distance traveled and the total driving time with the engine running.
The value shown on the display is updated every 10 s.
To reset calculations, press and hold the button «MODE/RESET» for more than 1 s.
5. Travel time («E/T»)
Displays the travel time after starting the engine.
When the engine is started, the travel time is counted from 0:00. The display can show driving time up to 99:59 (99 h, 59 min). If the travel time exceeds 99:59, the counter will return to 0:00.
To reset calculations, press and hold the button «MODE/RESET» for more than 1 s.
