Removing
1. Open the hood and support it in this position.
2. Using a marker, mark the position of the hinges on the hood.
3. Place a clean rag under the corners of the hood to protect the vehicle's paintwork when the hood is removed.
4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and wires that connect the hood to the car body.
5. With an assistant, support the hood and remove the hood support struts. Then unscrew the bolts securing the hood to the hinges.
6. Remove the hood from the car.
Installation
Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
1. Align the hood in accordance with the previously made marks and screw on the bolts. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed, the gap around the perimeter of the hood is the same on all sides.
2. If adjustment of the hood lock position is required, loosen the lock mounting bolts and move it to the desired position, then tighten the mounting bolts.
3. To adjust the front of the hood in height, screw in or unscrew the rubber cushions located on the front cross member above the radiator.
