Removal



1. Open the hood and support it in this position.



2. Using a marker, mark the position of the hinges on the hood.



3. Place a clean rag under the corners of the hood to protect the vehicle's paint when removing the hood.

4. Disconnect the electrical connectors and wires that connect the hood to the car body.

5. With an assistant, support the hood and remove the hood support struts. Then remove the bolts holding the hood to the hinges.

6. Remove the hood from the car.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

1. Align the hood according to the marks made earlier and screw it in with bolts. Adjust the position of the hood so that when the hood is closed, the gap around the perimeter of the hood is the same on all sides.





2. If adjustment of the hood lock position is required, loosen the lock mounting bolts and move it to the required position, then tighten the mounting bolts.



3. To adjust the front of the hood in height, you need to screw in or unscrew the rubber cushions located on the front crossbar above the radiator.
