Adjusting the trunk lid



(See the figure "Adjusting the gap between the hood, trunk lid and the car body".)

1. Disconnect the clips and remove the trunk lid trim.

2. To adjust in the longitudinal and transverse directions, loosen the trunk lid mounting bolts.



3. To adjust the front edge of the trunk lid in the vertical direction, adjust the hood by turning the cushions.



Adjusting the trunk lock bracket



1. Remove the left and right rear trunk trims.

2. Remove the middle rear trunk trim.

3. Loosen the two bolts securing the lock bracket.

4. Using a plastic hammer, adjust the position of the lock bracket.





Removal the trunk lid



When removing and installing the trunk lid, follow the corresponding assembly drawing, remove and install the torsion bar in the following order:

1. Disconnect the torsion bar from the center bracket.



2. Remove one end of the torsion bar from the torsion bar force adjustment hole as shown in the figure.



3. Holding the torsion bar as shown in the figure, gently lower the end of the torsion bar to relieve the load.





4. Press down on the torsion bar and disconnect the hinge element from the torsion bar.



5. Remove the torsion bar from the mounting hook.



Installing a torsion bar.

Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.
