2. Loosen the drain plug and drain the fuel from the fuel filter.
3. Using pliers, unscrew the water sensor and remove the O-ring.
Note: Be careful not to damage the sensor when removing.
4. Using the special tool, remove the fuel filter and gasket.
5. Install the fuel filter.
A) Check and clean the mating surface of the fuel filter.
b) Lubricate the filter gasket with fuel.
V) Screw in the fuel filter until it touches the bracket and tighten it by hand three-quarters of a turn.
6. Install the water sensor
A) Install a new fuel filter water sensor O-ring.
b) Apply a coat of fuel to the O-ring.
V) Screw the water sensor into the fuel filter by hand.
7. Establish the fuel filter in gathering with a support on the car.
8. Connect a socket of the gauge of presence of water in the fuel filter.
9. Fill the filter with fuel using the fuel priming pump.
10. Start the engine and check for fuel leaks.
