Central floor section
1. Gear shift knob; 2. Top panel; 3. Heater control panel; 4. Back of the section; 5. Section shield; 6. Front part of the section
Removal and installation
1. Disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Using a screwdriver blade wrapped in tape, pry up the decorative panel of the section shield and remove the shield.
3. Pry off the top panel of the center section. On vehicles with a manual transmission, remove the gearshift knob.
4. To access the screws on the rear of the center section, lift the armrest and remove the cover.
5. Remove the screws from the rear of the center section and remove the section.
6. Unscrew the screws on the front of the section and lift the section. Disconnect the connectors and remove the section.
7. Installation is carried out in reverse order.
