When stowing luggage or cargo in the vehicle, observe the following:
Place luggage or cargo in the trunk if it fits completely. Make sure all items are securely in place.
Be careful to keep the balance of the car. Placing the load as far forward as possible helps to maintain balance.
For better fuel economy, do not carry unnecessary cargo.
Never let anyone ride in an oversized trunk. It is not intended for passengers.
Do not place anything on the panel behind the rear seatbacks or the trunk lid. Such objects may be thrown out and there is a possibility of injury to persons in the vehicle during sudden braking or an accident.
Do not drive with items left on top of the dashboard. They may obscure the driver's view or move during sudden acceleration and turning of the vehicle.
