- the thermostat is stuck open. Replace the thermostat;
- the heater radiator hose is clogged. Clean the radiator hoses and the radiator itself;
- the heater radiator is clogged. If you cannot flush the radiator, replace it.
If air does not come out of the vents:
- turn on the ignition and the blower fan. Listen to see if the blower motor is running;
- if the motor does not work, replace it.
If steam or an antifreeze smell is coming from the vents, the heater core is leaking and needs to be replaced.

Inspect the heater and evaporator unit drain hose to ensure it is not clogged.
