Connect the positive terminal of the battery to terminal "1", the positive wire of the ammeter to terminal "2", and the negative wire of the ammeter to the negative terminal of the battery.
Turn on the motor being tested, after the seat stops in the extreme position, continue to apply voltage. Make sure that the current drops to less than 1 A in 4-90 s (the fuse will blow).
Disconnect the wires.
After about a minute, apply reverse polarity voltage to the motor terminals; the motor should turn on.
