Precautions when replacing lamps
1. Do not hold the glass part of the lamp as this will reduce its service life. When replacing the lamp, do not hold the lamp base.
2. The new lamp must be of the same power as the old one.
Headlights (Camry and Vista).
1 - fog light and turn signal (Vista) or fog light and front side light (and lighting when turning) (Camry),
2 - headlight (Vista) or headlight and turn signal (Camry),
3 - start inhibit switch (automatic transmission),
4 - reversing light switch (manual transmission),
5 - repeater,
6 - front side light and cornering light (Vista).
Arrangement of lighting system elements.
1 - rear left door limit switch,
2 - front left door limit switch,
3 - door opening illumination lamp,
4 - local lighting lamp,
5 - interior lighting lamp,
6 - trunk lighting lamp,
7 - upper brake light (inside the cabin),
8 - high brake light (on the spoiler),
9 - rear combination light,
10 - license plate light bulbs,
11 - trunk limit switch,
12 - reversing light.
Adjusting the headlight position
1. Preliminary operations.
a) Adjust the tire pressure.
b) Place one person in the driver's seat.
c) The battery must be charged during adjustment.
2. Adjust the position of the headlights using the adjusting screws.

Headlight Bulb Replacement (Vista) and Headlight and Front Turn Signal Bulb Replacement (Camry)
1. Disconnect the connector and remove the protective cover and casing.
Note: The protective cover is unscrewed by turning it counterclockwise.
2. Remove the retainer and the lamp.

3. Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Removal the front side light (Vista)

6 - turn signal relay-interrupter,
7 - turn signal lighting relay,

10 - Ignition switch illumination (ZX, VX),
11 - brake light switch,
12 - combination switch (headlight control).
1. Loosen the screw.
2. Pull the front side light towards the front of the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the connector and remove the front side light.
Removal headlights
Vista
1. Remove the front side light.
2. Unscrew the two bolts.
3. Pull the headlight towards the front of the vehicle.
4. Disconnect the connector and remove the headlight.
Camry
1. Unscrew the two bolts.
2. Pull the headlight towards the front of the vehicle.
3. Disconnect the connector and remove the headlight.
