Contents: Weekly or every 400 km ↓ Every 5,000 km or 3 months…↓ Every 10,000 km or 6 months…↓ Every 25,000 km or 12 months…↓ Every 50,000 km or 24 months…↓ Every 100,000 km or 48 months…↓
To keep your vehicle in top condition, it is necessary to service it periodically. Service can be performed either continuously or at specific intervals, which are listed below. These are the minimum service intervals recommended by the manual.
Weekly or every 400 km
Check the following items:
- engine oil level;
- coolant level;
- brake fluid level;
- presence of liquid in the windshield washer;
- condition of the battery, tires, windshield wipers and all bulbs.
Every 5,000 km or 3 months (whichever comes first)
In addition to all the points outlined above, do the following:
- check the power steering oil level;
- check the oil level in the automatic transmission;
- replace engine oil and oil filter.
Every 10,000 km or 6 months (whichever comes first)
- check the free play and installation height of the clutch pedal;
- check battery status;
- check and, if necessary, adjust the tension of the drive belts;
- check the condition of all hoses;
- check the condition of the cooling system;
- balance the wheels.
Every 25,000 km or 12 months (whichever comes first)
In addition to all the points outlined above, do the following:
- check the condition of the brake system;
- replace the air filter;
- check the condition of the fuel system;
- check the oil level in the automatic transmission;
- check the oil level in the manual transmission;
- check the condition of the suspension and steering;
- check the constant velocity joint protective covers.
Every 50,000 km or 24 months (whichever comes first)
In addition to all the points outlined above, please do the following:
- replace fuel filter;
- replace coolant;
- check the condition of the exhaust system;
- change the oil in the automatic transmission;
- change oil in manual transmission;
- replace spark plugs;
- check the condition and, if necessary, replace the high-voltage wires and the distributor cap and distributor rotor.
Every 100,000 km or 48 months (whichever comes first)
- check and, if necessary, adjust valve clearances;
- replace the timing belt;
- replace the fuel tank head gasket.
