Inner side of the windshield
For best results, set the controls as follows:
For automatic operation:
- Temperature - towards high temperature for heating; low temperature for cooling
- Air inlet - FRESH (outside air)
- Air conditioner - WINDSHIELD
For hand work:
- Fan speed - to the desired fan speed
- Temperature - in the WARM direction (to the right) for heating; in the COLD direction (left) for cooling
- Air inlet - FRESH (outside air)
- Air flow - WINDSHIELD
Pressing the windshield air flow button turns on the air conditioner linked to the defroster. At this time, the "A/C" button indicator will turn on, regardless of whether the "A/C" button is pressed or not. This is the fastest way to clear the front view.
When the "A/C" button is pressed, pressing another air flow button turns off the air conditioner.
On rainy days, do not blow cold air onto the windshield - the difference between the outside and inside temperatures can cause the glass to fog up.
