Engine oil
The location of the dipstick to check the oil level
Oil dipstick (indicated by an arrow) located on the right rear side of the engine. The oil level must be checked before driving or 15 minutes after the engine has been switched off.
Oil dipstick
Remove the dipstick and wipe off the end of the dipstick. Insert the dipstick all the way into the tube and pull it out again. The oil level should be between the two lines on the dipstick. The difference in the amount of oil between the marks on the dipstick is approximately 1 liter.
Filler neck
To add oil, twist the filler cap located on the cylinder head cover, insert a funnel into the filler neck (arrow) and fill with oil.
Coolant
Regularly check the coolant level in the reservoir using a dipstick or marks on the side of the reservoir. When the engine is warm, the fluid level should rise to the upper mark. Add coolant if necessary.
Coolant tank
Check that the coolant level is between the Full and Low marks. If necessary, add the correct amount of antifreeze and water.
When checking the coolant level, also check the condition of the coolant itself. If the fluid has turned brown or rusty, it must be replaced and the cooling system flushed.
Washer fluid
Washer fluid reservoir
The windshield washer fluid reservoir is located in the right front corner of the engine compartment. Check that the fluid level is near the upper mark on the filler neck.
In warm climates, fill the tank only two-thirds full, and in cold climates, use a solution of a special antifreeze fluid. Do not use antifreeze as it can damage the car's paint.
Hydraulic brake and clutch fluid
Check that the liquid level is between the MAX and MIN·marks located on the tank wall. Add the correct type of fluid, if necessary.
Check the condition of the fluid itself, if it contains dirt particles or water droplets, the fluid must be drained and the system filled with new fluid.
