Lighting system at the entrance to the car [Toyota Camry XV30]

If the switch is in the "DOOR" position, the lighting turns on when any door is opened. After all doors are closed, the lighting remains on for about 15 seconds, then turns off.

But in the following cases the lighting turns off immediately.

• All doors are closed, the ignition key is in the "ACC" or "ON" position.
• The ignition key is turned to the "ACC" or "ON" position after all side doors are closed.
• All doors are closed and locked.

If all doors are unlocked with the key or with the wireless remote control key at the same time, the interior lighting is switched on for approximately 15 seconds and then switched off.

To prevent the battery from discharging, the lighting automatically turns off when the key is removed, the door remains open for at least 20 minutes, and the switch is in the "DOOR" position.
