Check the battery for corroded or loose terminal connectors, cracked or loose clamp clamp.
If the battery is corroded, flush the battery with a solution of warm water and baking soda. Apply grease to the outside of the terminals to prevent corrosion.
If the terminal connectors are loose, tighten the clamp nuts - but not too much.
Be sure to tighten the clamping bracket just enough to secure the battery in place. Overtightening can damage the battery case.
If the battery is disconnected or discharged, the sunroof may not operate automatically, so after the battery is connected, replaced or recharged, the anti-pinch function will not work normally. In any of these cases, the sunroof should be returned to its normal position.
