The fault codes for engines of the 1AZ-FE and 2AZ-FE models are given in Table 2.34-2.35.

Notes:
"CE" is an indicator "CHECK ENGINE" ("+" – lights up when a malfunction is detected, "–" – does not light up when a malfunction is detected).
"MEM" – writing to memory ("+" – the code is saved in the control unit memory, "–" – the code is not saved in the control unit memory).
