Removing
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the corresponding front wheel.
2. Disconnect the brake hose from the bracket on the A-pillar.
3. If the vehicle is equipped with an anti-lock braking system, disconnect the electrical connector from the speed sensor.
4. Mark the position of the strut on the steering knuckle. Remove the two bolts securing the steering knuckle to the bottom of the A-pillar. Remove the upper part of the steering knuckle from the rack and install the steering knuckle on the stand.
5. While holding the strut from falling, unscrew the three nuts of the upper mounting of the front strut, lower the strut and remove it from under the front fender.
Installation
1. Install the strut in place and screw on the three nuts of the upper mounting of the front strut.
2. Insert the upper part of the steering knuckle into the A-pillar and secure with bolts.
3. Attach the brake hose clamp to the front strut. Connect the speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Install the wheel and lower the car.
5. Tighten the three nuts securing the upper part of the front strut to the required torque.
