Removing
1. Raise the front of the car and secure it on stands. Remove the front wheel.
2. Remove the caliper without disconnecting the brake hose from it. Using a soft wire, hang the caliper on the front rack, remove the brake disc from the hub.
3. Unscrew the nut securing the tie rod to the steering knuckle. Using a puller, remove the tie rod ball joint from the steering knuckle.
4. Remove the bolts securing the ball joint to the lower arm of the front suspension.
5. Unscrew the nut securing the drive shaft to the hub. Remove the drive shaft from the hub by moving the steering knuckle away from the vehicle.
6. Mark the position of the front suspension strut on the steering knuckle. Unscrew the two bolts securing the front suspension strut to the steering knuckle. At the same time, finally remove the drive shaft from the steering knuckle.
Installation
1. Check that the splines on the outer end of the drive shaft and the grooves in the hub are clean. Slide the hub onto the grooves of the drive shaft.
2. Slide the steering knuckle onto the drive shaft. Position the upper part of the steering knuckle on the rack and secure with bolts.
3. Screw the nut securing the drive shaft to the hub and tighten it to the required torque.
4. Install the brake disc on the hub and the caliper on the steering knuckle.
5. Bolt the ball joint to the lower arm of the front suspension.
6. Establish steering draft on a rotary fist.
7. Install the wheel and lower the car.
