Attention! Remove the key from the ignition only after the car has come to a complete stop! Otherwise, the steering lock may be activated while driving.

START — engine starter. After releasing, the key automatically returns to the "ON" position.

ON — ignition and all current consumers are on. This is the normal mode when the car is moving.

ACC - Current consumers such as the radio are connected, but the engine is off.

LOCK — ignition and power consumers are switched off. The key can only be removed in this position.

To set the key in the ignition switch from the ACC position to the LOCK position, you must press the key and turn it in this position.

To lock the steering wheel, turn the steering wheel with the ignition key removed until you hear the steering lock pin click into place.

Before each new attempt to start the engine, it is necessary to return the ignition key to the "LOCK" position. The starter re-engagement interlock device, located in the ignition switch, prevents the starter from engaging when the engine crankshaft is rotating, thereby protecting the starter from damage.
