Door glass — removal and installation [Toyota Camry XV20]

Front door glass



1. Raise the glass and remove the door trim and water shield (see subsection 11.16.).

2. Lower the window completely.



3. Lift the glass just enough to provide access to the glass mounting bolts through the holes in the door frame (avalon model).



4. On Camry models, the glass mounting bolts are accessed through holes in the lower portion of the door.



5. On Solara models, lift the glass enough to remove the three nuts shown.



6. Cover the glass with a rag and unscrew the two glass mounting bolts.

7. Take out the glass.

8. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Rear door glass



1. Remove the door trim and water shield (see subsection 11.16.).

2. Lower the glass so that you can access the glass mounting bolts. Loosen the bolts while holding the glass. Remove the glass through the door window opening.



3. On Avalon models, lower the window to remove the two bolts shown. When reassembling, tighten the bolts only when dimensions A and B are equal.



4. On Camry models, remove bolt A of the rear guide and two bolts B of the glass mount.

5. Installation is carried out in reverse order.

Rear corners (solar models)



Replacement of these glasses is carried out in a car service center or in a specialized workshop.
