Front door window lifter
1. Remove the door trim and water shield (see subsection 11.16.).
2. Remove the glass.
3. On vehicles with power windows, disconnect the window motor connector.
4. On Avalon or Solara models, remove the bolts and nuts securing the electric motor and window regulator.
5. On Camry models (scissor window), mark the position of the rear bolt on the upper track. Remove the bolts on the lower track, then the six screws that secure the window regulator and motor (or manual window lifter).
6. Remove the window regulator by reaching it through the opening in the door frame.
7. Installation is performed in reverse order. Before installation, lubricate the rubbing parts of the window regulator (arrows indicate lubrication points).
Rear door window lifter
1. Remove the door trim and water shield (see subsection 11.16.).
2. Remove the glass.
3. On vehicles with power windows, disconnect the window motor connector.

4. Unscrew the bolts securing the electric motor and window lifter. On all the cars in question, the rear door window drive is secured in the same way as on the front door.
5. Remove the window regulator by reaching it through the opening in the door frame.
6. Installation is performed in reverse order. Before installation, lubricate the rubbing parts of the window regulator.
