Attention! The work is performed by two people.
Removal
1. Lower the window and disconnect the battery from ground.
2. Open the door and place a stand under it.
3. Remove the door trim panel.
4. Mark and disconnect all connectors, ground wires, remove all wire fastening brackets.
5. Remove the rubber groove from the door.
6. Loosen the door opening limiter mounting bolt.
7. Mark the position of the hinges on the door.
8. While supporting the door, unscrew the hinge bolts and remove the door (the picture shows the top loop).
9. To access the rear door bolts (arrows), open the front door.
Installation
Installation is carried out in reverse order.
Adjustment
1. Check the condition of the hinge axes. If the play exceeds 1.5 mm when swinging the door in the vertical direction, the hinges must be replaced.
2. The door is adjusted by moving it in the holes of the door hinges with the bolts loosened (on the body or on the door). After adjustment, tighten the bolts. After adjustment, the door should be flush with the adjacent body panels, the gaps along the door contour should be uniform and small. If the door cannot be adjusted, then washers should be placed between the hinge and the body.
3. Check the adjustment of the door lock retainer vertically and horizontally. The latch tongue should touch the center of the retainer. Otherwise, adjust.
4. To adjust the latch, loosen the screws and move the latch in the desired direction using light hammer blows. When adjusted horizontally correctly, the door should be flush with the center post (or rear wing) and lock without much effort.
