Note: Install in the reverse order of removal. If some installation steps have special features, they are mentioned in the corresponding section with the general title "Installation".
After disconnecting 15 fastening clips, remove the trunk lid trim.
Unscrew the four mounting screws.
Wrap the end of the screwdriver with a bandage. Pry the ends of the trim off and remove it. Using a screwdriver and white spirit, carefully clean the recesses under the trim.
Cover the contact surface of the pad with new adhesive tape and install the pad in place.

Tighten the four mounting screws (Fig. 8.48).
