Pic. 1.86. Outside rearview mirror
The driver's mirror is a mirror of extended visibility, with different curvature and dividing line. This provides a different perception of the distance along the inner and outer parts of the dividing line of the mirror. Objects on the outside of the mirror look farther away than on the inside (pic. 1.86).
When the rear window defroster switch is pressed, the defroster panels in the outside rearview mirrors quickly turn the surfaces clear. The rear-view mirrors are designed to be cleaned when it rains.
Warning! Do not adjust the mirror while the vehicle is moving. This could result in loss of vehicle control and an accident, resulting in serious injury or death. Since the surfaces of the mirrors can become very hot, do not touch them while the heater switch is on.
