Checking the main power relay
1. Check for continuity between terminals "1" And "2" relay.
2. Check for continuity between terminals "3" And "5" relay when battery voltage is applied between terminals "1" And "2".
Circuit breaker test
Checking the operation of the electric motor
1. Connect "+" battery to the output "3", to the conclusion "1" connector, check the rotation of the motor armature.
2. Reverse the polarity of the battery connection, the direction of rotation should be reversed.
Motor ground check
Check for continuity between sunroof motor housing and terminal "2" (central) connector.
Checking the thermal fuse
1. Connect "+" battery to the output "1", to the conclusion "3", by connecting an ammeter to the circuit.
2. Check that after 10-60 seconds after the hatch is fully opened, the current will drop from 16 - 23 A to 0 (thermal fuse trips).
3. Reverse the polarity of the voltage, check that the sunroof starts to close after about 60 seconds.
Checking limit switches
