Checking work
1. Check that when closing and opening the door with the key, all doors open and close.
2. Check that at speeds above 20...26 km/h, all locks are automatically activated.
3. Check that the locks do not work at speeds over 27 km/h.
4. Check up that at presence of a key in the ignition lock the door of the driver is not locked.
Checking the central locking control relay
Disconnect the connector from the relay and check the connector on the wire side as shown in the table "Checking the central locking control relay".
Checking the central locking control relay
Checking the central locking switch (in the door lock)
1. Check for continuity between terminals "6" And "5" connector when the switch is in the position "blocked".
2. Check for continuity between terminals "5" And "7" connector when the switch is in the position "unlocked".
Checking the sensor for the presence of a key in the ignition lock
Check continuity between terminals "6" And "9" connector when the key is inserted into the ignition lock and the absence of conduction without a key.
Checking the door switch
Check that there is continuity between the switch terminal and "earth" with the button pressed (the door is open) and no conduction when pressed (the door is closed).
Checking the electric drive of the door lock
1. Checking the operation of the electric drive.
A) Connect "+" batteries to output "2", to pin 4, check that the latch moves to the position "unlocked".
b) Reverse the polarity of the battery connection: the latch of the door lock should move to the position "blocked".
Differences for models since 1996:
Checking the operation of the electric drive of the rear door locks.
A) Connect batteries to terminal "2", to pin 4, check that the latch moves to the position "unlocked".
b) Reverse the polarity of the battery connection: the latch of the door lock should move to the position "blocked".
Checking the central control unit
Check the circuit according to the table "checking the central control unit".
