1. The traction control system (TRC) is designed to automatically prevent wheel slip during acceleration and driving on slippery surfaces, and ensures stable vehicle control. However, it should be borne in mind that on slippery road surfaces, even when the TRC system is operating, the driver cannot always control the vehicle at high speed. If the system starts to function while driving, the "TRC" indicator starts to flash.

2. The system is switched on by pressing the button, as shown in the figure, and can be done "on the go".



When the ignition is turned on (when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position), the "TRC" indicator lights up for a few seconds. If the indicator does not light up when the ignition key is turned to the "ON" position, or if the indicator lights up continuously while driving, then the "TRC" system may be faulty.



The system is switched off when the "TRC OF" indicator on the instrument panel is constantly lit while driving.





3. When stuck in snow or mud, it may be necessary to turn the system off or on, since TRC can either help or hinder depending on the situation.
