Driving at high speeds
When maneuvering in confined spaces (especially in reverse), in order to avoid damage, it is recommended to turn off the system "4WS" and move in the mode "2WS". For this:
- stop the car;
- turn on the reverse gear of the manual transmission or the automatic transmission selector to the position "R";
- hit the switch "REVS 2WS".
Note: pressing the switch again "REVS 2WS" put the system into operation "4WS".
When the ignition is turned on (when the ignition key is turned to position "ON"), the indicator lights up for a few seconds "4WS". If, when the ignition key is turned to position "ON" the indicator does not light up, or if the indicator lights up constantly while driving, then the system may "4WS" out of order. In this case, the system will automatically switch to the mode "2WS" and informs about it with an indicator "2WS'‘.
