Drive shaft sealing rings — replacement [Toyota Camry XV10]

1. Raise the front of the vehicle and support it on stands.

2. Remove the drive shaft inner joint from the transmission.



3. Using a screwdriver or pry bar, remove the sealing ring from the transmission.



4. Using a tubular drift of the appropriate diameter, install a new sealing ring into the gearbox seat. Lubricate the working lips of the new sealing ring with multi-purpose grease.

5. Install the drive shaft inner joint.
