To prevent damage to the vehicle during towing, use appropriate equipment. Improper towing can cause damage to the vehicle. Although most specialized services know how to properly tow, there is a possibility of error. The following precautions must be taken to prevent damage to the vehicle.
When towing, always use the safety chain system and comply with national/regional and local laws. The wheels and axle on the ground must be in good condition. If they are damaged, use a towing dolly.
A) Truck towing with wheel lift
Front - Release the parking brake.
Rear - manual transmission - it is recommended to put the front wheels of the car on the towing dolly. If the towbar is not being used, turn the ignition key to the «ACC», and the gearbox in neutral position.
Automatic transmission: place the front wheels of the vehicle on the towbar.

Attention! Never tow an automatic transmission vehicle from behind (front wheels on the ground), as this may cause serious damage to the transmission.

Attention! Towing by a truck using a sling with the front and rear of the vehicle is prohibited. This may result in damage to the vehicle body.
