Pic. 1.43. Fuel tank filler flap location indicator
The triangle on the left, next to the fuel level indicator in the tank, indicates that the fuel filler door is on the left side of your vehicle (pic. 1.43).

Pull the lever up to open the fuel filler door (pic. 1.44). Turn off the engine when filling the tank with fuel.
Warning! When opening the cover, do not remove it quickly. In hot weather, pressurized fuel can cause injury by splashing out of the filler opening if the cap is suddenly removed.
To remove the fuel tank cap, turn the cap counterclockwise 90 degrees (to compression point 1), and then rotate it an additional 30 degrees (to point 2). Take a short break before taking it off.
When you open the lid, you may hear a characteristic hissing sound.
The removed cap can be stored on the back of the fuel filler door.

Position the lid so that the hooks are on the left and right, and insert it into the slot on the inside of the door (pic. 1.45).
When reinstalling the cover, turn it clockwise until you hear a click. A click indicates that the lid is fully closed.
