Move the locking lever to the "LOCK" position (Fig. 1.37).
If the safety device is locked, it is not possible to open the rear door using the inside door handle. We recommend that you always use this option when there is a child in the car.
Warning! Make sure the doors are closed and locked before driving, especially if there are small children in the car. Along with proper seat belt use, locking the doors helps prevent the driver and passengers from being ejected from the vehicle in the event of an accident. It also helps prevent the doors from opening unintentionally.
