Recommended viscosity (SAE)
Use SH universal engine oil, "Energy-Conserving II" or S.J "Energy-Conserving" API grade or ILSAC multigrade engine oil.
Temperature range to consider before the next oil change
If you use an engine oil viscosity of SAE 10W-30 or higher at extremely low temperatures, the engine will become difficult to start, so the use of SAE 5W-30 engine oil is recommended.

ILSAC Certification Mark
Oil identification marks
One of two or both registered API marks are added to some oil containers to help select the oil to be used.
The API service symbol is located somewhere on the outside of the container.
The top of the label indicates API oil quality (American Petroleum Institute) using symbols such as SJ. The center of the label shows the SAE viscosity grade, such as SAE 10W-30. Inscription "Energy-Conserving", shown at the bottom, indicates that the oil has fuel saving capability.
ILSAC Certification Mark (Committee for Approval and Standardization of Lubricating Oils) displayed on the front of the container.
