Inspection and replacement of windshield wipers [Toyota Camry XV20]

Periodically inspect the wiper blades and arms for wear or damage. Check the reliability of the fasteners.

If the rubber inserts of the wipers are worn out, cracked, or do not wipe the glass well, they must be replaced.

Type A

1. Pull the rubber wiper insert sideways and remove it.



2. Install the new rubber insert with the end that has small protrusions.

Type B

1. Squeeze the rubber insert retaining clips and remove the insert.





2. Install the new insert with the side that does not have slots.
