Removal
1. Remove the hood.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Raise and support the front of the vehicle.
4. Remove the engine guards.
5. Drain the engine oil and remove the oil filter.
6. Disconnect the front section of the exhaust pipe from the catalytic converter, bracket and exhaust manifolds.

7. Remove the two bolts and flywheel housing cover.

8. Remove the bolts securing the aluminum pan section to the transmission.

9. Remove the bolts and remove the steel section of the pan.

10. Unscrew the oil intake pipe bolts (arrows) and remove it.

11. Remove the bolts from the aluminum section of the pan.
12. If necessary, remove the tray divider.
Installation
1. Thoroughly clean and wipe with acetone the mating surfaces of both sections of the sump and the cylinder block, clean the threads in the block holes. Check if the sump flange is warped, straighten it if necessary.
2. Install a partition wall.

3. Apply sealant to the mating surface of the aluminum section.
4. Install the aluminum section and tighten the bolts to the specified torque.
5. Inspect the oil pickup pipe for clogging, cracks or other damage. Install the pipe (if you filmed it) and tighten the bolts.
6. Apply sealant to the flange of the steel pan section. Install the section, insert the bolts and tighten them to the required torque.
7. Install the remaining parts, start the engine and check for leaks.
