0. Casing; 1. Filler cap; 2. Gasket; 3. Fuel tank filler pipe; 4. Protective pipe cover; 5. Tank mounts; 6. Fuel tank; 7. Fuel tank filler hose; 8. Fuel vapor recovery system hose; 9. Gasket; 10. Fuel pipe; 11. Ventilation hose; 12. Carbon filter; 13. Fuel pump; 14. Plate; 15. Protective cover


Removal



1. Release the pressure in the fuel system.

2. Remove the fuel tank filler cap.

3. Disconnect the negative battery cable.

4. Drain the fuel from the tank.

5. Raise and support the vehicle on supports.

6. Remove the exhaust pipe.

7. Disconnect the fuel and vent lines from the fuel tank.

8. Place a jack under the fuel tank.



9. Unscrew the bolt (indicated by the arrow) tank mounts.



10. Lower the tank slowly.

Installation



Installation is carried out in the reverse order of removal.

Cleaning and repair of the fuel tank



All work related to cleaning and repairing the fuel tank must be carried out by a specialist in a specially equipped workshop.
