Pic. 2.72. Oil seal removal
Cut off the edge of the seal with a knife. Using a screwdriver wrapped in cloth, remove the oil seal (2.72).
Note. Using sandpaper, remove the remaining oil seal from the lip of the rear oil seal holder. Apply grease to the surface of the new seal. Using a drift and hammer, press in the new oil seal so that its surface does not protrude beyond the edge of the edge of the rear oil seal holder.
