Pic. 2.60. Bolts and nuts for fastening the timing chain cover
Remove the fourteen bolts and two nuts securing the timing chain cover (pic. 2.60).
Using a screwdriver, separate the cover from the head and cylinder block. Remove the timing chain cover.

Remove the crankshaft position sensor rotor after removing the O-ring with a screwdriver (pic. 2.61).
Remove the timing chain guide.
Remove the timing chain tensioner shoe.
Remove the damper for the timing chain drive.
Remove the timing chain drive.
Remove the crankshaft sprocket.
