Attention:
- 1. For safety reasons, during subsequent operations, the safety device mechanism must be constantly on. Moreover, it is forbidden to turn off the safety device on the pretensioner removed from the vehicle.
- 2. Be very careful when handling the pretensioner seat belt. Do not hit or throw the pretensioner, expose it to strong magnetic fields, or expose it to water, oil, or fuel. If dents, cracks or deformation are found, always replace the pretensioner with a new one.
- 3. Do not place foreign objects on the pretensioner.
- 4. Never attempt to disassemble or repair a pretensioner seat belt. If a malfunction occurs, replace it.
- 5. The pretensioner must not be heated above 90°C.
- 6. After the pretensioner has been activated, replace it with a new one.
Description
The pretensioner seat belt consists of a tensioner and an acceleration sensor that reacts to the impact force. They are built into the inertial reel that retracts the belt.
The pretensioner mechanism is equipped with a safety mechanism to prevent the system from tripping when removing and installing the belt.
In order to avoid injury to yourself and others due to accidental deployment of the pretensioner belt, when servicing, carefully study and follow all safety requirements.
Removing
1. Remove the following parts:
A) Finishing the threshold of the front door.
b) Finishing the threshold of the rear door.
V) Lower trim of the center pillar.
G) B-pillar center trim.
2. Remove the seat belt assembly.
A) Turn on the safety device by pressing the switch with a screwdriver as shown in the figure.
b) Rotate the safety device lever as shown.
V) Turn away bolts and remove a seat belt in gathering.
Installation
1. Install the seat belt assembly.
A) Install the seat belt retractor with the two bolts.
Torque:
- Top bolt - 8 Nm
- Bottom bolt - 44 Nm
b) Fasten the seat belt with two bolts.
- Tightening torque - 44 Nm
V) Rotate the safety device lever as shown in the figure» to turn off the safety device.
2. Install previously removed parts in the reverse order of removal.
