Removing
Note: Installation is in reverse order of removal. After installation, check the alignment of the front wheels and the operation of the speed sensors (ABS).
1. Jack up the car, remove the front wheel.
- Tightening torque - 103 Nm
2. Remove two bolts, disconnect brake hose bracket and speed sensor harness clamp (ABS) from the rack.
Torque:
- hose bolt - 30 Nm
- wire fastening bolt - 5.5 Nm
3. Loosen the nut located in the center of the top post of the rack.
Note: Do not remove the nut.
- Tightening torque - 47.5 Nm
4. Turn away nuts and having removed bolts, disconnect a rack from a rotary fist.
- Tightening torque - 215 Nm
5. Remove the three nuts from the top of the strut, remove the strut assembly.
- Tightening torque - 65 Nm
Disassembly
1. Remove the spring.
