To control the position of the outside rearview mirror, two electric motors are used in each mirror.
Adjustment of the position of the electrically operated outside rearview mirror is only possible after the ignition is switched on.
To check the engine's operation, turn on the switch and listen for the sound of the engine running.

If the motor runs but the mirror does not move, there is likely a defect in the drive inside the mirror.
If the mirror does not move and the engine does not run, check the fuse in the fuse box located on the left side under the instrument panel.
If the fuse is good, remove the instrument cluster trim to access the rear of the mirror switch. Without disconnecting the electrical connector from the switch, turn the ignition on and check for voltage at the switch. Voltage should be present at one pin of the connector. If voltage is not present, check the electrical circuit between the fuse box and the switch.
