Turning on the headlights

To turn on the headlights, turn the knob at the end of the lever. The first position turns on the parking lights. The second position turns on the parking lights and headlights.

When the engine is turned off with the headlights on and the doors are opened, the buzzer will sound.

Low and high beam

Lever forward = high beam.

Pull the lever towards you = low beam.

If you pull the lever towards you until it stops, the light signal turns on.

Direction indicators

Lever in fixed position:

up = right turns on,

down = left turns on.

When the steering wheel is returned to its original position, the turn signal lever automatically returns to its original position.

When changing lanes, press the lever only until you feel a noticeable resistance. When released, the lever returns to its original position.

If the turn signal indicator light on the instrument cluster flashes faster, this means that one of the turn signal bulbs has burned out.

Headlight leveling corrector

The adjustment mechanism allows for smooth adjustment of the headlight beam angle in accordance with the vehicle load. This reduces the risk of blinding oncoming drivers. At the same time, the correct installation of the headlights creates better visibility conditions for the driver.

To lower the light cone, turn the control dial upward from its original position.

Emergency alarm system

The hazard warning lights also function when the ignition is off.

When the hazard warning lights are on, all the direction indicators flash simultaneously. The direction indicator lights and the indicator light in the switch also flash.

Turn on your hazard warning lights when, for example:
  • You have reached the end of the traffic jam;
  • You have been involved in a traffic accident;
  • Your car has stopped due to a technical malfunction.

Adjusting the instrument cluster lighting

To set the desired instrument cluster illumination intensity, turn the dimmer knob.

Rear fog lights

The rear fog lights only come on when the high beam or low beam headlights are on.

Interior lighting

Depending on the position of the interior light switch, the light can be turned on continuously by the switch or when one of the doors is opened.

Ignition switch illumination

To make it easier to find the ignition switch, the ignition switch backlight turns on when the car door is opened.

After the door is closed, the ignition switch illumination remains on for some time.

Windshield wiper and washer switch

To turn on the windshield wiper, move the lever downwards in sequence.

To turn on the washer, press the button at the end of the lever.

The ignition key must be in the "ON" position.

Intermittent operation when the lever is set to the "INT" position with an interval of 3 to 12 s depending on the position of the regulator in the position between "S" and "F".

Headlight washer

The headlight washer only works when the headlights are on after pressing the washer button.

Rear window heating

The heating only functions when the ignition is on. When the heating is on, the control lamp in the switch lights up.

While the rear window is clean, do not turn on the heating. Reducing the number of operating current consumers helps save fuel.

On vehicles with electrically adjustable exterior mirrors, the mirror surface heating is switched on simultaneously with the rear window heating.
