SRS side airbags

In response to a severe side impact, the SRS air bags deploy in conjunction with the seat belts to prevent or reduce injury by inflating the air bag to reduce the impact force primarily on the chest of the driver or front passenger.
The SRS side airbag deploys even if there is no passenger in the front seat.
Check that the seat belts are not worn out.
There are cases where the SRS restraint airbag will not deploy in response to such an impact, but a properly fastened seat belt will not result in serious injury to a passenger.
The SRS airbag is designed to inflate when the passenger compartment is subjected to a severe side impact. For the safety of all passengers, make sure everyone is properly fastened with a seat belt.
For the safety of all passengers, please ensure that everyone is properly seated.

The SRS air bag is designed so that it will not inflate if the vehicle is struck from the front or rear, if it rolls over, or if it is involved in a low-speed frontal collision.
Main components of the SRS airbag system
1. SRS warning light
2. Side air bag module (air cushion and inflator)
3. The device of the side air bag sensors
4. The device of air cushion sensors
The SRS side airbag system is controlled by airbag sensors. The side airbag sensor device consists of permissible impact sensors and airbag deployment sensors.
